Democracy Now! A Debate on Rendition

Democracy Now has an interesting discussion with host Amy Goodman, along with Scott Horton and Michael Ratner. You can read the transcript here.

Earlier this week, Scott Horton said Greg Miller, an L.A. Times writer, was "punked." Miller broke the story that Obama would continue renditions. Horton chided Miller for not distinguishing "rendition" and "extraordinary rendition."

Michael Ratner is a lawyer and president of the Center for Constitutional Rights. Rattner opposes rendition - without parsing the terminology. After all of the debate that took place this week, it appears that Horton actually opposes most renditions as well.

Kudos to INVICTUS for this information.
